LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER

I love arts and some people said that I am creative (not being boastful)..

Well, a lot of credit should go to my sifoo and mentor; my darling mother.

I saw these when I came to her house yesterday. It's for my sister's wedding. The teddies are favors for VIP guest and the bottom photos are the "bunga dulang" and corsage for the "penanggah" with RM 5 incorporated into the design. Its my mom's work of art.

I just lovveee the teddies. And I think she's good..

HANDPHONE COSY 1

After my 1st attempt (banana cake) and 2nd attempt (blueberry cake), I tried making a handphone cosy for my husband. It looked like this except that his has grey interior with black cover plus a NIKE logo.




Then, my baby sitter saw it and asked me to make one exactly like my hubby's for her. Instead of black and grey, her cosy has pink interior with purple cover. Nice choice of colours!




Its a simple cosy. Looks macho in black, look sporty in pink and purple. Will do more with a different design, soon.

VANILLA PEACH CAKE

This diaper cake was baked for a sweet lovely little girl. Consist of 5 diaposable diapers, a burp cloth, a 8 oz feeding bottle, a cute peach dress, a pair of peach shoes to match the dress, a sweet little teddy and topped up with a simple yet lovely ribbons at only RM 70.00.

GRANDMA'S DAY CARE

School holiday.. what a coincidence!

My siblings and I plus spouses n children had a gathering at my moms place last Sunday coincide with the fasting month and school holiday. Everybody was there. Including my moms' 8 grandchildren (my big bro's and my offsprings).. Mine are wearing blue Ben 10 t-shirts and the baby boy in green n yellow t-shirt. The rest belongs to my big bro (in photo). There are 4 girls and 4 boys (of which, 3 belongs to me).

Wow, my mom's house looked like a daycare centre.

I wonder, will the figure 8 change to 9 next year as my younger sister is getting married this October.. hmmmm..

The youngest in the gang, my niece Sofiah and my little Syawal. Born 2 weeks apart, Sofiah in Ramadhan and Syawal.., well obviously in Syawal.. Both gonna be 11 months soon. They look like twins, dont they?

5 DAYS IN HOSPITAL

5 days spent in PUSRAWI, KL. My dear Syawal had bronchiolitis. There was so much of mixed emotions in the ward.. Well, picture speaks louder than words.

My sweet little Syawal saying, "Tak naklah amik gambar! Tengah tak hensem niii...!"
Cute little Aleesya playing with a motorbike. If you dont see the IV set on her left hand, you wouldnt know that she's a patient. Very active indeed. Am I right mummy Ida?
Another room mate, Siti Nur Aishah, mummy Nasliha and Syawal. Aishah loves Syawal a lot.

Had a great time with these kids. All were discharged on the same day, yesterday. Went home happy and sad. Happy to go home, yet sad to leave those that has become close friends and nurses as well.. (sigh)
